Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase, as well as make sure to read any individual Coaching, Immersion or other Agreement sent to you for signature before commencement of your programme.

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of maryjfourie.com and all services, programmes, events and digital products offered by Mary J Fourie trading as The Cosmos. By accessing this website or purchasing any offering, you agree to these terms in full.

Mary J Fourie is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Registered Financial Practitioner (RFP) based in Cape Town, South Africa, operating globally.

Services Offered

Mary J Fourie offers the following services through The Cosmos ecosystem:

  • In-person and online events including, but not limited to, the #Adulting Club, Cuddle Puddle Club and Sacred Rebels Events.

  • Digital content branded as Soul Sparks.

  • Group coaching and transformation programmes including, but not limited to, The Initiation.

  • Individual and couples coaching and financial planning through, but not limited to, The Immersion.

  • Ongoing membership and community access through, but not limited to, The Infinite.

  • Website memberships including, but not limited to, The Curious, The Brave, The Devoted and The Radical.

Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

The content, coaching, courses and guidance provided through The Cosmos are for educational, developmental and transformational purposes only.

Nothing provided by Mary J Fourie constitutes medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal or financial advice in the clinical or regulated sense, unless explicitly provided in her capacity as a Registered Financial Practitioner under the relevant regulatory framework.

You are encouraged to seek appropriate professional support — including therapy, medical care or legal counsel — where needed alongside any work done with Mary J Fourie.

Financial Services

Where Mary J Fourie provides financial planning or advisory services in her capacity as a Registered Financial Practitioner, those services are governed by the applicable South African financial services legislation including the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) and the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA). Separate service agreements apply to regulated financial services engagements and are only applicable when she is working through a registered entity such as MJF Wealth (Pty) Ltd to which she contracts her services.

Payments

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely through our payment providers. By making a purchase you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

International clients are responsible for any currency conversion fees or charges applied by their bank or card provider.

​

Refunds and Cancellations

All refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, published separately on this website. Please read these carefully before making any purchase.

Membership Plans

Membership plans provide access to specific content and benefits as described at the time of purchase. Mary J Fourie reserves the right to modify membership benefits with reasonable notice. Memberships are non-transferable and are for the named member only unless otherwise specified.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website including text, images, course materials, videos, frameworks, tools and brand assets are the intellectual property of Mary J Fourie and The Cosmos unless otherwise stated.

Purchasing a course or programme grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own personal development only.

Confidentiality

Clients and community members are similarly expected to maintain confidentiality regarding other participants in group settings, events and online communities.

Code of Conduct

By participating in any offering — event, programme, community or course — you agree to:

  • Treat all participants, facilitators and staff with respect and dignity.

  • Honour the consent framework in all in-person and online spaces.

  • Maintain confidentiality about fellow participants.

  • Take responsibility for your own wellbeing and choices.

  • Not engage in discrimination, harassment or harmful behaviour of any kind.

  • Agree to any other specific guidelines, boundaries and co-created agreements for that engagement.

 

Mary J Fourie reserves the right to remove any participant from any offering without refund where these standards are not upheld.

Health and Wellbeing

You are responsible for your own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. By participating in any offering you confirm that you are in a suitable state to do so and that you will seek appropriate professional support where needed.

Mary J Fourie is not liable for any physical, emotional or psychological responses arising from participation in coaching, events or programmes, as these are a natural part of personal growth work.

Online Conduct

In online communities and group spaces you agree not to:

  • Share, copy or distribute any content without permission.

  • Engage in spam, solicitation or unsolicited marketing to other members.

  • Post harmful, discriminatory or inappropriate content.

  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity.

 

Violations may result in immediate removal from the community without refund.
